I am a figurative and abstract artist living and working in Bournemouth, Dorset.
My approach to painting is experimental and I produce vibrant images that are totally unique due to the processes that I employ.
My studio is alive with colourful images drawn from life and memory which emerge from a variety of media such as paint, raw pigments, recycled materials, dyes and wax on Japanese handmade paper. The reaction of these materials during my working practice plays an integral part in the creation of interesting textures and I am constantly searching to interpret familiar images through new perspectives.
My studio is open all year round and you are warmly welcome to visit by appointment.
